A bit about me.
I am a person who loves to use his hands to build and make things, and use my body to feel what the world has to offer. This has manifested itself through the work I have chosen to do as an entrepreneur and the hobbies that I have chosen to do like scuba diving, hiking, and sewing.
Where am I from?
I was born and raised in California in the heart of Silicon Valley, as a child of immigrants from Taiwan. I became an adult in the California Central Valley, and I grew roots in Bangkok over the last 10 years.
Where do I currently live?
I call Bangkok, Thailand home, but I am spending a lot of time in Sydney, Australia at the moment for family.
What is core to InsightPact?
InsightPact isn't perfect. We probably never will be, but we try dang hard to consider what we know and strive to consider who we can, and acknowledge when we have gaps in our approach. We work to be better to our people, stakeholders, community, and environment the best we can as a small bootstrapped business.
The book that changed the way I think.
Convenience Store Woman by Sayaka Murata. This book allowed me to deepen and brighten my awareness of the everyday experiences I walk through and the lives of those I pass by. It renewed my understanding of the power of fiction to change lives and perspectives.
How I practice wellbeing & wellness in my day-to-day life.
I eat a 3:1 ratio of veggies to protein and get a swim in every day, and hike and get into the ocean when I can.
My morning routine.
I follow what my body needs for that day :)
